The first visit is free which provides a great way to test the water. I went to the pool area and was the only one there. I picked out a chair for some tanning, took off my board shorts and put sunscreen on the areas that have never seen the Sun.

Pretty soon, very tanned naked people started trickling in and they came in all sizes, shapes and ages. It was very easy to engage in conversations after the initial good morning. I was really surprised how quickly that fact that everyone was naked became perfectly normal. No one really cares. Being nude is somehow an amazing neutralizer and puts everyone on the same playing field. I had great casual conversations with a of different demographics. A 60ish year old retired construction worker, another 60ish year old semi-retired couple, a 40ish year old couple from the bay area, a 40ish guy from the UK and his 30ish female friend, a 50ish year old single woman and another 40ish year old single woman.

All the conversations were easy and sincere and other than being naked there was nothing sexual at all about the place. By the time I left around there were about 30 people there all adults between the volleyball pool and the regular pool with about a fifty-fifty split between men and women. I personally thought it was a very cool and relaxing experience.

I asked to see the room I was going to take for the night before deciding if I would stay or just do a day pass. The units are old but well maintained. I felt very comfortable getting out of my clothes immediately. There were lots of people walking around taking care of things, all nude. After unloading the truck I walked the feet or so to the large pool area. Make sure you bring appropriate footware — the streets are mostly pea gravel.

There were about a dozen folks in the pool, among them a few around my age retired?

Everyone was very laid back and casual. I spent a few hours on the pool deck area, some in the water, some tanning on the lounges. I met several new friends. I went back to the pool several more times up until around pm. I plan on hitting the pools early tomorrow morning and then taking my camera on the nature walk among the saquaro cacti. Very beautiful setting. It is my intention to inquire about a season pass to come back at least a couple weekends a month through October or so.

Remarks: "Staff was friendly enough, however the resort seemed overcrowded. We were tent camping and needed help to find the tent spots, as the sites were on a side of a road, and not very obvious to be for camping.

Very nice hiking trails though, and can see how they can and probably should expand. Reviewed By: Alex. Trip Date: August, Friendly People: 3. Pool Area: 2. Remarks: "Stopped over for 2 nights during the week. Were not impressed at all. Entrance did not feel very welcoming. The resort looks and feels outdated and dirty. Somebody needs to take a broom at least and sweep this place clean. Does not compare to other clothes optional places we have visited. Office staff was friendly. Restaurant was closed.

Would not return for second visit, sorry. Reviewed By: Bob. Trip Date: February, Resort Rating: 3. Resort Condition: 3. Overall Experience: 3. Remarks: "Very… rustic? Pools were nice.
