Great place to work. Can be a little difficult sometimes, but overall the experience is well worth it.
Upper management is understanding as long as you perform your job to the best of your abilities and communicate when you are having difficulties. Extremely nice management who was very helpful and loved to help others understand how things were to be done in the work environment. A good place to work for high schoolers who need a job or something quick to get into work. If you are a good worker you can become a manager rather quickly and managers get really good hours.

After about 8 years they cut down staffing and have the assistant managers scheduled hours a weekwith no overtime due to movie theaters being exempt from overtime. The company uses and abuses its employees and do not have any interest in making it a better work environment.

I worked with this company for years as a floor staff employee and then as an assistant manager. The level of stress for the hourly pay is not a fair balance. They would only hire high school kids with little to no job experience causing the training and of mistakes to always be at a high level. Assistant managers were always super understanding because they dealt with all of floor staff's issues but have a better look into why some decisions have to be made and followed through with.
But of course sometimes a certain employee will be promoted who should not have ever been hired. Corporate was known for their harsh decisions and unfriendliness. Being told that they would be visiting soon was like nails on a chalkboard to everyone. Free movies were common and a great perk for floor staff members. I am thankful for all the experience I now have from this place because it not only helped me advance in what career I had chosen, but gave me a wonderful example of what kind of extremely negative culture a company is not supposed to have.
